The Brisbane Line is written by J. P. Powell. She is an archaeologist, historian, teacher and writer.

She made the journey from digging up the past with her hands to bringing it to life in the pages of her very first novel and our first book club novel.

Prior to this novel, Judy Powell wrote a series of educational and academic writing.
